The Story Behind Busy Fingers Creationz

People often ask me how I came up with the name Busy Fingers Creationz, and the answer goes all the way back to my childhood.

As a little girl, I was always creating something. My hands were constantly busy. If my mother made something for me, I would often take it apart just to see how it worked and then use the pieces to create something entirely new. I was curious, creative, and always looking for my next project.

Years later, when I discovered hand knitting, not much had changed. I would spend hours working with yarn, creating cozy blankets and handmade treasures. One day, my husband looked at me and laughed, saying, “You can’t just sit there, can you? You always have to keep your fingers busy.”

When I shared his comment with my mother, she immediately smiled and said, “That’s true. When you were little, we used to call you ‘Little Miss Busy Fingers.’”

The moment she said that, everything clicked. The name Busy Fingers Creationz was born.

The name represents more than just my love of creating. It reflects who I have always been—a person who finds joy in making things with my hands and sharing that joy with others.

In addition to being a maker, I have been a Medical Massage Therapist for over 23 years. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping people feel better, heal, and improve their overall well-being. Whether I am helping someone on their wellness journey through massage therapy or creating a soft, cozy blanket that brings comfort and happiness into their home, my goal is the same: to make people feel cared for.

At Busy Fingers Creationz, every blanket, snuggler, and handmade item is created with love, intention, and a desire to bring comfort to others. For me, creating is more than a hobby—it is an extension of who I am.

Looking back, I realize my fingers have always been busy. Thankfully, now they have a purpose that allows me to share warmth, comfort, and a little piece of my heart with every creation.

And that is why the name Busy Fingers Creationz fits perfectly.
